What is included in a Caravan Service?

A Full Annual Service is required for most caravans under warranty, and is also important in maintaining the value and appearance of any leisure vehicle, and ensuring that it remains legal and safe. I am approved by the National Caravan Council Approved Workshop Scheme (AWS) to carry out servicing and repair work without affecting your warranty.

A Full Annual Service normally takes between 3 and 5 hours to complete. It is a comprehensive and thorough 67-point check, set by the Approved Workshop Scheme. Please see below for a list of items included.

A Chassis Service involves inspection of the chassis and running gear (see list below), 13 pin/7 pin plugs & cables, and road lights & reflectors. This type of service may be required when a caravan has been stationary for a period of time, has had an awning erected, or if there are potential issues with the chassis and running gear, and a habitation check is not required.

A Habitation Service only involves inspection of the electrical, gas & water systems, bodywork, ventilation, and fire & safety (see list below). The chassis and running gear are not included. A Habitation Service only can be carried out upon customer request. However, please note that a Full Annual Service is usually required to maintain the manufacturers warranty on your caravan. Reece’s Caravan & Motorhome Services takes no responsibility for loss of warranty if the customer books a Habitation Service only.
